Welcome to Newbridge Animal Centre, the newest Veterinary Hospital in South Western Sydney.
Thank you for considering to visit or choosing to come and see us with your much loved fur child / children.
We have now been open since April 2014 and we are pleased to have met so many lovely families and their pets from the surrounding suburbs.
While we come to the area as a new hospital, Newbridge Animal Centre comes to service the pets in the surrounding suburbs with staff that have many years of experience in the field of Veterinary Medicine/Healthcare.
This is an exciting time for the all people involved in bringing Newbridge Animal Centre (NAC) to the community.
NAC is born as the result of a change in direction for our Principal Veterinarian Dr Jenny Myers.
After previously owning and successfully running Bankstown Veterinary Hospital & Boundary Road Veterinary Hospital over the last 20 years, Jenny has embarked upon opening NAC as a new era in her career as a Veterinarian.
Following the sale of both her previous Practices in June 2013, Jenny decided she would start the journey of opening a new hospital feeling this would allow her to continue to work out of her own Hospital and continue her commitment to the profession that being a Vet is.
NAC will come with all the values & ongoing experience that Jenny has acquired over the course of her 30 year career as a Veterinarian.
NAC is a General Veterinary Practice running out of a new purpose built premises.
The hospitals design has been aimed around the everyday needs of companion animals and facilitates all facets of healthcare for your pets on a GP level.
We have new equipment in place which allows us to fulfil the best care possible for your pets, at the level required in each individual situation, and have experience in all areas of GP care. This includes new anaesthetic machines, digital X-ray, IM3 dental machine, autoclave & in house pathology machines.
Our rooms include a consultation room, treatment room, dedicated surgery, radiology room and laboratory. Our animal accomodation includes separate dog and cat wards as well as an isolation room to cater for the various needs of patients.
For more complex medical and surgical cases we have a referral hospital close by in Homebush.
The Animal Referral Hospital has specialists covering all areas of Veterinary medicine and they are an invaluable extension to the service general practice physicians can offer if your pet needs specialised or 24 hour care.
Your dedicated Vet Dr Jenny brings more than 30 years of experience to pet owners and breeders of dogs & cats.
Your Manager/Head Nurse Liz comes with 15 years of experience as a Vet Nurse and manager of general practice.
They are assisted in the care of your pets by other experienced staff.
We aim to offer you a friendly, professional, comprehensive service in the care of your pets and will always treat your pet as they were one of our own.
